  • The Evangelical Lutheran Church Schools-Ghana (ELCS) was established to oversee the educational arm of the Lutheran Church by providing a distinctive Christ-centered, inclusive and child-friendly basic education in a safe, supportive and relevant environment, whilst developing responsible Christian global citizens for the future.

    ELCS- Ghana has held unwaveringly to its reputation as manager of a prestigious league of schools delivering first-class basic education in Ghana. Though professionally recognized in 1999, the Evangelical Lutheran Church Schools-Ghana has built a sturdy forty-year track record of establishing individual schools since 1974. Presently,the group is blessed with close to 15 schools, found in both urban and rural Ghana, offering  unrivaled Christian education and support to the community.

    Our urban schools networked to improve efficiency include:

    1. Holy Trinity Lutheran School (Kwadaso
      Estates – Kumasi, Ashanti Region)
    2. St. Paul Lutheran School (Kanda, Near
      GBC – Accra, Greater Accra Region)
    3. Trinity Lutheran School (Community 2 –
      Tema, Greater Accra Region)
    4. St. Peters Lutheran School (Madina
      Estates – Accra, Greater Accra Region)
    5. All Saints Lutheran School (Anyaa –
      Sowutoum – Accra, Greater Accra Region)

    Other developments are underway in Buduburam and Bawkawpa in the Central Region, Twifo Hemang, and Daboase in the Westerm Region, Bumpunrungu and Bawku in the Upper East Region and Anyaano in the Ashanti Region for the development of a modern Christian SHS.
